  • Construction is composed of 12"concrete blocks 5' high with steel-framed glass windows extending 14' high and then 4' of corrugated panels to the roof.  The roof is corrugated panel and the floor is 6" to 8" reinforced concrete.

  • Lighting is comprised of twin tube 8'-long fluorescent throughout, except in boiler and high-bay crane area, which is metal halide.

  • Water (10" line), sewer (8" and 10" lines) and natural gas (6" line) are provided by the City of Decatur.  Power (277/480 volt, 3-phase, 15,000 amps) is provided by Illinois Power.

  • Canadian National Railroad borders the east side of the property and rail spur to the building is available.

  • Air compressors: 1 Quincy 1500 cfm compressor, 1 Quincy 1000 cfm compressor and 1 Hankinson dryer.

  • Offices and approximately 50,000 sq.ft. of plant area are air conditioned. Steam heat is available to the office and in temperature-controlled areas of the plant.

  • Decatur is centrally located within the Midwest of the United States and is 38 miles east of Springfield , Illinois , 85 miles southeast of Peoria , Illinois , 135 miles northeast of St. Louis, Missouri, and 180 miles southwest if Chicago, Illinois.
