Raley’s was founded in 1935 when the first Raley’s store was opened in Placerville in 1935. The first Bel Air Market was opened in 1955 at this location of 6231 Fruitridge Road. This flagship Bel Air Market, as well as the other Bel Air Markets, was acquired by Raley’s in 1992. Raley’s is based out of West Sacramento and employs approximately 11,500 people.
