GALESBURG MANUFACTURING CENTER

  • Building Descriptions:

    Building 26;      contains 155,550 square feet.  This building was completed in 1953 with the use of standard/steel construction.  The clear ceiling height for this building is 20 to 24 feet.

    Building 26.1;   contains 2,750 square feet.  This building is a part of Building 26.

    Building 26.3;   contains 5,500 square feet.  This building is a part of Building 26.

    Building 33;      contains 39,000 square feet.  This building was completed in 1939.

    Building 35;      contains 113,950 square feet.  This pre-engineered steel building (Butler Mfg.) was completed in 1991.  The clear ceiling height for this building is 31 feet.    Within this building is a separate powder paint room and equipment with an environmentally controlled paint room.  This building has a standing seam metal roof.  An air conditioned break area and offices are located in the northeast corner of this building.  There are two (2) truck docks with levelers and restraints at the west end of this building with an interior (sunken) steel receiving dock.  This building has one (1) 15-ton overhead bridge crane (DeShazo Crane of Birmingham, AL) and a large ground-level overhead door on the north side.

    Building 47;      contains 83,258 square feet.  This building was completed in 1965 of standard masonry/steel construction.  The clear ceiling height in this building is 27 feet.  Bay spacing is 30 feet x 48 feet.

    Building 51;      contains 289,520 square feet on the ground floor and 14,400 sq.ft. of mezzanine.  This building was completed in 1974 of standard masonry and steel ceiling girder construction.  The clear ceiling height for this building is 26 feet.  This building has eight (8) truck docks with levelers and restraints located at the northwest corner.

    Building 55;      contains 44,696 square feet.  This building was completed in 1979 with the use of standard steel panel construction.  The clear ceiling height for this building is 30 feet.  Within this building are separate explosion-proof rooms and equipment (SE Corner) and an environmentally-controlled lab room (NW Corner) with special seismic foundations for coordinate measuring equipment.  This building has a standard seam metal roof, an air conditioned break area and offices are located along the east wall of this building.

    Building 57;      contains 37,800 square feet.  This two-story office building was completed in 1988 with the use of standard construction.  The ceiling height for this building is 12 feet.  This building has two (2) separate entrances and an elevator (off a reception lobby).  This building has Two (2) large meeting rooms, several smaller meeting rooms and individual offices, as well as a large open office area on each floor.

    Building 61;      contains 161,800 square feet.  This building was completed in 1996 with the use of tilt-up concrete panel construction.  The clear ceiling height for this building is 32 feet.  Within this building is a separate powder paint room and equipment with an environmentally controlled paint room.  This building has a standing seam metal roof.  There are three (3) overhead bridge cranes (DeShazo of Birmingham, AL) located in this building, (2) 10-ton, (1) 15-ton.  This building has an interior sunken dock for steel receiving, a large ground-level overhead door and two (2) receiving docks with levelers and restraints.  A personnel entrance is located on the east end of this building, complete with guard office, air conditioned break area and offices.

    Building 62;      contains 32,670 square feet.  This pre-engineered steel building was completed in 1996 with the use of standard steel panel construction.  The clear ceiling height for this building is 20 feet.  This building has seven (7) truck docks with levelers and restraints, one (1) dock door for trash removal and one large ground-level overhead door.

  • Parking: Ample vehicle parking and trailer storage.

  • Rail: BNSF Rail service to the westerly portion of the facility.  Galesburg has East/West connection via short-line to Toledo, Peoria and Western Railway (TP&W).
