Stonyford Ranch hosts 2014 Field of Dreams annual Kid's Fishing Day

By Press Release

Woodland, California – May 27, 2014.  Forgetting my cell phone at home was the best way to start a rewarding day on the lake fishing with disadvantaged children.  The 9th-annual Field of Dreams’ Kid's Fishing Day was a great success.  No cell phone required.

The event started on Friday, May 16th with dinner at Granzella's in Williams, CA.  Great food and two guest speakers – 11-yr. old Joe Mammola of Yuba City and 14-yr. old Albertito Salomon of Sacramento.  Their optimism and humor made the evening.

The families equipped with new fishing gear stayed the night at Granzella's Inn.  Saturday began with a big breakfast and then off to fish on a lake at family owned cattle ranch in Stonyford, CA.

It was the perfect setting for this quick get-a-way event.  best replica watches

The fishing was done by small boats and from a large handicap accessible dock.  The Bass and Bluegill were very cooperative.  Tito caught his first fish, amazing because he has no fingers.  Don't let that fool you, do not play him in darts!  The dock was action packed and as always kids went swimming in the lake.

Everyone like, they can cost much to get it. Now gucci outlet is very hot. And for sale online.

The children have their own varying disabilities but came together on the dock to help each other overcome the challenges of drink vending machine.  A true reward, watching one child help another.

After the morning fishing an awesome barbeque lunch was ready back at the ranch headquarters.  The families ate, kids rode horses, played, drove quads and watched professional colt trainers, Jim and Summer Neubert with their border collie put on a captivating show of horsemanship skills.  , herding, and smiling.

Some snack vending machine had enough energy to go back and fish more.  11-yr. old Abbey showed Warden Brett Gomes how to hook and land bass all afternoon.  She said she is good at math and we believe her, but we think maybe a Bass Pro in disguise.

By late afternoon the families returned to the Granzella's for a quiet evening and then up Sunday for a farewell breakfast.  The event was a success and fully funded by Field of Dreams, Inc.

Fishing with vending machine on a small, quiet lake.  A perfect day to forget your cell phone.
